Call to Worship
                                                                      Shawne Sidles

One: We rejoice in the One who leads us beside still waters,
All: And gives us refreshment of soul.
One: Christ our Shepherd shows us the way we should go,
All: So that the name of God will be glorified.
One: Though all manner of evil befall us, we will not be afraid,
All: For the Great Shepherd of our souls is with us.
One: We are never away from the love and mercy of the Lord,
All: And we shall be with him for ever and ever. Amen!
Hymn of Praise UMH #75           “All People that On Earth do Dwell” (vs. 1, 2 & 3)                   OLD 100th
     1. All people that on earth do dwell, sing to the Lord with cheerful voice.
     Him serve with mirth, his praise forth tell; come ye before him and rejoice.
     2. Know that the Lord is God indeed; without our aid he did us make;
     we are his folk, he doth us feed, and for his sheep he doth us take.
     3. O enter then his gates with praise; approach with joy his courts unto;
     praise, laud, and bless his name always, for it is seemly so to do.
Words: Attr. To William Kethe, 1561 (Ps. 100) Music: Attr. to Louis Bourgeois, 1551
Psalm 23; 1 Samuel 3:1-10 NRSV
One: The word of God for the People of God
All: Thanks be to God!

Lord’s Prayer
Shawne Sidles
     Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Sending Hymn UMH #419                   “I Am Thine, O Lord” (vs. 1 & 2)                                       I AM THINE
     1. I am thine, O Lord, I have heard thy voice, and it told thy love to me;
     but I long to rise in the arms of faith and be closer drawn to thee.
     Draw me nearer, nearer, blessed Lord,
     to the cross where thou hast died.
     Draw me nearer, nearer, nearer, blessed Lord,
     to thy precious, bleeding side.
     2. Consecrate me now to thy service, Lord, by the power of grace divine;
     let my soul look up with a steadfast hope, and my will be lost in thine.
